Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Skin Science in Aesthetics. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which outline key information about your experience before, during, and after your appointment.

1. Services

Skin Science in Aesthetics provides cosmetic and skin treatments performed by Stacey Hampton — Registered Nurse (Division 1), AHPRA Registration Number: NMW0002929340, practising within her clinical scope and under appropriate medical oversight.

All treatments are determined on a case-by-case basis following a clinical assessment. Treatment information, suitability criteria, potential risks, expected outcomes, and aftercare will be provided during consultation and through written consent forms.

2. Consultation (Mandatory Requirement)

A consultation is required before any cosmetic procedure can occur.

During this appointment:

  • Your medical history, medications, allergies and relevant clinical factors will be assessed.

  • Treatment suitability is determined individually — not all patients will be eligible for all procedures.

  • The registered nurse will provide clear, evidence-informed information about:

    • the nature and purpose of the proposed treatment

    • expected outcomes and the variability of results

    • specific risks, potential complications, and side effects

    • contraindications

    • alternative options

    • required aftercare

  • You will have the opportunity to ask questions before giving informed consent.

Accurate, complete information from you is essential to ensure safe, appropriate, and individually tailored care.

Completion of a consultation does not guarantee that a treatment will proceed.

3. Treatment Process

If you are assessed as clinically suitable and provide informed consent, treatment may proceed.

Individual responses to cosmetic procedures vary, and no outcomes can be guaranteed.

All cosmetic injectable procedures are restricted to patients aged 18 years or older.

4. Risks and Side Effects

All cosmetic treatments carry risks, potential side effects, and possible complications. These will be discussed during your consultation and are detailed in your consent documents.

You should consider all information carefully before choosing to proceed with any treatment.

5. Payments and Refunds

Consultations are complimentary.

A $50 deposit is required when booking a treatment appointment. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Payment for treatment is due at the time of service.

Refunds cannot be issued for completed treatments, as treatment fees cover clinician time, assessment, equipment, and consumables. Refund requests for other reasons may be considered at the clinic’s discretion in line with Australian Consumer Law.

6. Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Late cancellations or failure to attend will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

If unforeseen circumstances arise, please contact the clinic as soon as possible to discuss options.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

Skin Science in Aesthetics complies with all relevant privacy laws. Personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
